184-Minute Recording and Playback
The AJ-D250 provides up to 184 minutes
of continuous recording and playback on
an AJ-5P92LP extended-play tape cassette.
This allows you to record extended
programming on a single tape - a big
convenience in production and
transmission. For use in the field, the
AJ-D250 also records on DVCPRO M
cassettes without the need for an adaptor.
Playback of DV-Format Recordings
The AJ-D250 makes DVCPRO recordings
on durable metal-particle tape. The
AJ-D250 can play back large-format DV
cassettes, and mini-DV cassettes with
optional adaptor.* The AJ-D250 combines
with a DV camera/recorder to form a
highly-affordable, easy-to-use system.

The AJ-D250 cannot record on a Mini-DV cassette
even with an adaptor, or play back Mini-DV cassettes
recorded in LP mode.
