The Sony HVR-Z7 is a handheld HDV camcorder with an interchangeable lens system, native progressive recording, and solid-state memory recording. It's designed for documentaries, general TV production, low-budget movies, music videos, IPTV, education, or corporate videography applications.

The camera is excellent for all your small filming requirements.As soon
as the camera was received,we filmed an commercial for one of the biggest

money and one should stop looking for other expensive products. The

Good professional camera

An excellent camera that has professional-style controls. I shoot mostly
in Standard Definition, and SD quality is much better than with Sony
HVR-Z1. There is just a little overshoot in edges with heavy contrast.
It's a good idea to use -6 dB as your default gain setting as this will
reduce noise a bit.

A great all round camera, easy to use and a good step towards ENG
cameras. Picture quality is fantastic and recording to compact flash is
such a good thing.
