Love everything about this camera. My very first short video project went straight onto YouTube (titled: THAI BUDDHIST MONASTERY 147kms FROM SYDNEY). Great picture, still very clear in low light. Fits like a glove in the hand. A great wide angle (I can put up with the 4 corners of the scene I'm shooting in the viewfinder being curved by my lens filter, I just zoom about 10% until the curved corners disappear). Love the convenience of transferring files straight to an Ext Hard Drive. Image Stabiliser is so-so. Same as my other cameras. Sound quality is excellent using supplied ext mic. Sometimes TOO sensitive. Outdoors I have to use the low cut filter when there's a breeze. I have not been in a situation where I have to use the camera 'manually' yet. I just turn on the camera, open the LCD screen flap, and hit the record button. My first time using the AVCHD format so no need for anymore BluRay blank discs. What I gained in the Wide angle lens I lost in Optical zoom.. I can live with that.

Supplements my NEX-VG10 perfectly.A great field camera for guerilla style doco making. Heaps of features- a bit of a learning curve on manual controls. Super light - great long days of shooting. Focal length of lens a bit short for long shots. About to take it into cyclone season in the Pacific and really put it through its paces.

Finally i receive my NX70 "Chili" Camera, more than thirteen years I use a Sony Camcorder, since Betacam to HDcam today, good,strong product, easy maintenance and after sales service, This "Chili" Camera really "HOT and SPICY", especially the macro lens and rain proof, my "Chili" camera is protected from rain and dust, the PROBLEM now is

im a pro videoographer and needed something smaller than my z5 and ex1 this is awsome simmilar quality and very reliable and good features. the gain on the sreen is no drama also the seed, nd filters no need makes every thing simlper. if ur a pro ul know how to use it if u complain then u need more skills.
would of liked another ring but whats done is done.
