l have used this camera for recording many wedding ceremonies, dinner parties, regattas, ( river boat races ) mini documentary series showing the the jungle and its people of Sarawak n aerial videography from helicopter. In low lighting areas and normal lighted areas n with add on camcorder lights this camera performed well..best.
Its about 4 years now.

The Globalmediapro M-105 Shotgun Microphone has proved to be a valuable resource to those working on a tight budget. The mic picks up good sound and has come in handy multiple times, now I find my friends bugging me to borrow it.

I wouldn't say this is a mic you would use on a professional shoot, though it's handy to have attached to your camera just in case something goes wrong. I've used this mic for auditions and small corporate shoots so far, all of which I've had no concerns.

For the price you're getting it's a great deal. The only downside is you'd be getting charged another $30 on top for postage (Melbourne), which is ridiculously expensive for something this small.

Overall I'd still recommend. For a little bit of money you can get quality sound as opposed to the awful sound picked up from the inbuilt mic in every DSLR. If you're however looking for something of a higher quality, i'd recommend spending a little extra on a RODE shotgun mic.

superb camera. stabilising system best I've ever seen. camera small and light weight well balanced hence it is easy to shoot with the camera handheld. On the negative side, the settings are controlled via touch screen display. The latter is however not very sensitive and at times not easy to control specially in bright light. An alternative Menu and select buttons would have made operation easier. All in all an excellent and amazing camera. Top value for money.
