This is not the first device I bought from gmp. I started with simple DV-Tapes a while ago. Had a camera with MackCam warranty. Camera value $350, after few months, optics module has failed, cost $300. I had to ask for a quotation from authorised service center, and I got refunded after work was done. Communication was fast, everything went flawless

Il prodotto a primo impatto non sembra segnare per me un miglioramento qualitativo apprezzabile delle immagini rispetto alla mia vecchia 3CCD Panasonic HDC-SX5, da me dotata dotata di micro esterno direzionale e staffa a spalla, pagata solo 560 euro, ma che restituisce immagini HD sbalorditive, portandosi dietro solo poco piu di un kg.
Alla faccia del 3MOS della HMC80, la HDC mi sembra addirittura superiore in condizioni di luce bassa, e non di poco..
Io ho acquistato la 80 per fare qualche servizio video con velleita professionale, ma consiglio di pensarci due volte prima di acquistarla se avete gia un apparecchio simile alla mia vecchia HDC che utilizzate solo per i video-vacanze e similari.
La HMC-80 nella sostanza offre in piu solo alcune interfacce di tipo professionale e la messa a fuoco manuale, ma sulla spalla e sbilanciata e non monta neppure un obbiettivo LEICA. La cosa dove eccelle e invece nella "scena": con la HMC-80 non passerete infatti inosservati.
Speriamo che usandola non mi faccia rimpiangere troppo la mia vecchia HDC-SX5.

Very good unit, does what it supposed to do. Very easy to use and is a huge time saver when importing footage to your computer. My only regret is that I should have got one of these a long time ago. I will be getting my second one for my other camera soon. Highly recommend the Sony HVR-MRC1K. I’ve been using it with Sandisk Extreme 32GB 60MB/s CF cards with my Sony Z5 and hasn’t missed a beat. Just love it!

Ein sehr einfachzu bedienendes werkzeg für jeden d rad malschnell irgendwo licht raucht und keine dtripprn ziehen möchte. Eine sehr lichtstarke lampe.hab siemittlerweile jedentag im einsatz und kann sie mir nichtmehr wegdenken. Daumeneindeuig hoch! Und inverbindungmit einem kleinen akkubetriebrnen dmx-pult bei autofahrten genial.

I bought this camera last Autumn and I'm absolutely happy with this camera.
The quality is amazing. Nothing special these times, but I'm not talking about normal conditions. As an example: I filmed the "lunar eclipse" about a month ago. It was dark (of course) and it was very cloudy. Difficult to get the right settings. But if you get along with the camera, the result is amazing. My video-material was better then most of the pictures in the newspaper. Amazing low-light performance.
Opposite:I love being in the mountains. I snowboard every day all day in winter. I spent 5 Months in the Alps last winter. Me and my friend filmed a lot, almost every day. It's not that easy to get good material because of the missing colours and large amount of light.
The result makes me happy!
Another very important point is the bonus stuff you can buy for your EX1R. As an example: HyperDeck Shuttle from Black Magic Design. Means: Uncompressed Video in 10 Bit 4:2:2... just as an example ;)

This is an awesome safety-case for the EX-1R!!!
The backpack includes a *medium-soft* interior which is especially made for the EX-1R. The camera is more than save in this rucksack. The only disadventage is its size. The backpack is quite huge although there is just space for the Camera, an extra akku and that's it.
There are some extra pockets on the outer side where you can put in stuff like a charger for the akkus (batteries) or cables or small stuff like that. There are two medium sized pockets on the sides where you can put a microphone in and two more on the front.
I was looking for a case that saves my camera and I found it. I would buy it again!
Just fits the EX-1(R), Canon or other sony cameras will not fit!

The lens is excellent form 250-450mm, the range where you want to use it, in the other ranges the lens is less. With the OS it is possible to take picture out of hand in good light. The OS needs a little time to start up, so you cannot take instandly pictures, you should perpare for the action. There is a little vignetting (usual, nothing more) and hardly any 'purple fringing' and overall sharpness is good. But the heavy front-part makes that the lens needs very little to go to 500mm.
I am very pleased with the results (D700), very good quality for the price.
