Yeh impressive for the money

I put the amp through a few rugged tests with a 4ohm dummy load at just below clipping with signal generator and a scope hooked up ,the sign wave was clean and semetrical ,the amp projuced 900 watts per side both sides driven at 4 ohms .,not bad at all,I have also used the amps on a few gigs with my PA rig I was not disapointed , So I will buy more.

Consumer telezoom

I don't find any other adjective than excellent to describe this lens. I have been using it for more than a year and shot at least 5000 images with it. No other manufacturer, let alone Canon itself, makes a lens of this caliber at such a consumer price point. I also own an 'L" telephoto lens EF 400mm f/5.6L USM that performs superbly. But if I give the L lens 10 out of 10, the consumer telezoom has to get at least 8. In good light it produces sharp images and colors close to L quality. I used it for macro at 55mm to capture flowers, at 250mm for birds and 100 to 200 mm for mammals and sitting birds. Most of them came nice, sharp and presentable. One can confidently use it for portraits at 55mm. It's not a low light lens however, in conducive conditions its performance is great. In my rating, this is the best consumer telezoom lens at this price point. This is the lens that prevented me from buying the famous EF 70-200mm f/4 L USM telezoom lens till now.

For the money I did'nt expect a great deal,however the mixer with the DV/SDI options is first class.For quality and capability and for what I want it for it is great.You can mix DV/SDI/COMPOSITE/COMPONENT S-VIDEO,however there is still only 4 inputs,although you can hook up more and still bring them to line easily.A simple quality item,with some other nice features.

I was working with the Manfrotto Zoom Control bevore.
It was allways a loose and unstable mounting with this spring system.
The Libec ZC-9EX Zoom Control fits perfect to the handel and it sits very stable there. The control is smooth and easy to operate. There is a small adapter cable for the EX1. The metal connectors are very professional. A bit a pitty that this connecters cant be screwed together, in spite that the one side has a sread, so it would make the connection a bit more secure.
I can recommend this product very well, for me its perfect.

This is an excellent vidéo-camera really useful for many situations. A good pictures quality, and a very productive workflow with the recording on the SD-Cards. At this price you can't find a better camera.

VCG as DSK in an OB van

As a basic VCG it works very well, you get what you pay for, a chyron or the like will cost 10 times as much.
The output is clean and crisp and meets broadcast standards.
As an on-air tool it is very user friendly and quick.
An experienced DA used it live to after only getting basic instructions.
The down side is the kerning of text, it is very limited and clunky. You can't recall a group of supers, only one at a time.
Any graphics used as background have to be stored in the same folder as the completed page.
The instruction manual does not translate well into English.
Adjustments for H timing and video levels are not available.
You will find full screen graphics have a small see through area left and top of frame.
This is the second unit purcahsed, the first has been faultless for the last 2 years and is still in use 6 days per week.

Solid and much-improved

Mics are tricky things to buy - you don't know what you'll get until you've got it. But I've never been disappointed with the performance of the Sennheiser products I've used.
I once droppped a G1 wireless transmitter pack 20m down into a storm drain and it still worked afterwards.
The mic in this pack is a massive improvement - smaller pickup head, solid windshield and a MUCH better clip than the G1s. The menu interface is still a little tricksy, but you'll find some new features (like the ability to set the sensitivity and output values in-mic).
I've used Sony and Azden wireless solutions in the past - and can't say I'd recommend Azden from this experience - but I can recommend this product.
NOTE - do your research! Check the spectrum allocation in your country and location. US has just re-allocated frequencies for the emergency services, making some wireless mics illegal to use. Make sure you're not sharing the same public spectrum as digital TV broadcasters, too - otherwise you'll struggle to get a clean signal.

A must have

All I can say that is if you own JVC ProHD (Gy-HD111e etc) cameras then you will need at least one of these as the stock batteries as next to useless after a few months. The expensive route of the bigger power systems isn't really necessary with this battery around. I'm getting 3+ hours off one charge..enough for any ENG shoot. I also like the way the weight balances up the camera too.
I'll be back for a few more.

Sweet Radio Mics

I'm a freelance cameraman in Australia who in an ideal world
loves to have his sound taken care of by a "Soundo".
But we don't live in an ideal world so every now and then I get
asked to supply sound.
Sick of running around hiring gear,I went out and bought myself this lovely little Sennheisser receiver transmitter system. In the grand scheme of things they cost very little,and have paid themselves off in a handful of jobs.
Sound wise they're clean and crisp,and do the job for both
Corporate and Television needs.With plenty of range and a multitude of channels to choose from I really do rate this mic system for the Cammo on the go.

I owned this amp and played it regularly for 3 years. It had a great sound and a good mix of built in effects. Unfortunately mine was destroyed in a house fire and I've been looking for a replacement for over six months now. I've looked at some other similar modeling amps, but the Blue Devil was truly one of a kind. Behringer needs to bring this back into production!

i have two MCS-1VAI condenser mic and i verified many audio tecknics and many sound sources .
Panoramic AB, XY ,Ortf ,MS Blumline , two 8 and others .
The microphones work fine .
Is many important a good ambient .
The voice is excellent in cardioid mode -super.
The two microphones work good with natural sound , acustic instrument , guitar , piano, strings , brass .
Is possible make a excellent sound recoding of Classic music , quartet , strings ensemble and orchestra , pop brass band and many other.
The noise il very low .

Received the camera 2 days after paying for it.Took the camera to Japan for 5 weeks filming a documentary. Carried the camera in a backpack over mountains,thick forests,narrow trails,rain,etc. Used 2 x 32GB class6 SDHC cards which I downloaded to a notebook computer on a daily basis. Recorded at 1920x1080 and the picture quality was great even in thundery rain. However a 15-20 times zoom lens would have been an additional plus.

Got this cam. Lovely pics but shocking in low light! The cmos sensors are too small. Theyve also moved the very useful backlight switch into the menu which is pretty stupid. All in all good but the original FX1 is better. The 25p film mode suffers from the usual strobing problems.

I work in Professional Broadcasting, and we picked up one of these in London when we needed some extra gadgets. At this price, this is a steal. Now two years old, it's been around the world, and still works fine. Compared to other products in the segment, it works just as well. You get support for the camera, and it's design is easy and durable

Only problem is your lungs. Breathing will affect the motion of the camera, but I have yet to see a product in this segment where that is not a problem.

To handle this camera you must have had previous high quality SLR's. It's on the heavy side ,but how versatile!It takes the sharpest pictures for any magnification. To get it's true value use good AF lenses, preferably from the same maker.I'am still learning myself to experience it's full capabilities. All this of course comes with a price!
